Treatment Approach
Systemic anticancer therapy in a day hospital setting. Modern equipment, individualized protocols, a team of specialists led by Evgeny Ledin.
Types of Therapy We Provide
The clinic provides all major types of systemic anticancer therapy. The choice of method and treatment regimen is determined individually based on diagnosis, disease stage, and the molecular-genetic tumor profile.
Chemotherapy
Classical cytostatic therapy following international protocols. Medications are selected based on tumor type and individual tolerance.
Targeted Therapy
Precision targeting of molecular drivers in tumor cells. Prescribed based on molecular-genetic testing results.
Immunotherapy
Harnessing the patient's own immune system to fight the tumor. Used when appropriate biomarkers are confirmed.
Hormonal Therapy
Treatment of hormone-dependent tumors — breast cancer, prostate cancer, and others.
Combination Therapy
Combining multiple systemic treatment modalities for maximum therapeutic effect.
Palliative Therapy
Improving quality of life in advanced disease. Symptom management and supportive treatment.
Neoadjuvant Therapy
Drug treatment before surgery to shrink the tumor and improve surgical outcomes.
Adjuvant Therapy
Consolidation treatment after surgery to reduce the risk of recurrence. The regimen is selected based on histopathology results.

Book now →How the Treatment Process Works
From initial consultation to results — every step is supervised by the attending physician. Treatment follows international standards and is tailored to each individual patient.
The doctor reviews all documents: discharge summaries, histopathology, molecular tests, CT/MRI/PET-CT scans. An in-person consultation is conducted, with additional tests ordered if needed to clarify the stage and molecular tumor profile.
Based on all available data, the doctor develops an individualized treatment plan with a rationale for the chosen regimen. In complex cases, a multidisciplinary tumor board is convened with surgeons, radiation oncologists, and pathologists.
Baseline blood tests, organ function assessment, management of comorbidities. Premedication for side effect prevention if needed. The doctor explains what to expect in detail.
Treatment takes place in the day hospital. Infusion duration ranges from 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on the regimen. During the procedure, the patient sits in a comfortable reclining chair under medical staff supervision. The patient goes home the same day.
Regular treatment response assessment: follow-up examinations, progress analysis. Protocol adjustments and side effect management with supportive care as needed. Communication with the doctor between visits.

We Accept Private Insurance (VHI)
The clinic works with voluntary health insurance (VHI) policies. If your insurance program covers oncology, you can receive treatment under your policy.
How it works:
- Provide the insurance company name and policy number when booking
- I will contact the insurer for approval
- If the service is approved, you pay nothing out of pocket
For a list of partner insurance companies, contact the coordinator at +7 (917) 520-45-89.
Important to Know
Not all VHI programs cover oncology. Extended programs (corporate, VIP) typically include:
- Oncologist consultations
- Diagnostics (CT, MRI, PET-CT, biopsy)
- Drug therapy (chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy)
- Surgical treatment
If your policy does not cover oncology, I will help explore alternative options: public insurance, quotas, and drug access programs.
The duration depends on the diagnosis and chosen protocol. Typically, systemic anticancer therapy consists of 4 to 12 cycles. The exact plan is individualized after consultation and assessment.
The patient arrives at the clinic in the morning. Blood tests are performed, followed by an oncologist examination and premedication if needed. Then the drug infusion begins (from 30 minutes to several hours depending on the regimen). After completion, the patient is observed and discharged home the same day.
Side effects depend on the specific drug and individual tolerance. The doctor thoroughly explains potential reactions before starting treatment. The clinic provides supportive care to minimize side effects — from nausea and fatigue to more specific reactions.
In most cases, no. Treatment is provided on a day-hospital basis — the patient arrives in the morning and goes home the same day. Overnight hospitalization may be required in select cases — the doctor will discuss this in advance.
Many patients continue working during their treatment course. It depends on how well you tolerate therapy, the nature of your work, and your overall condition. The doctor will provide individual recommendations regarding schedule and workload.
Treatment cost is calculated individually and depends on the protocol, chosen medications, and course duration. A detailed estimate is provided after the doctor consultation and treatment plan development. See our consultation fees.
