Initial Oncology Consultation
A comprehensive review of your clinical situation: document analysis before the appointment, examination, and a personalized treatment plan with evidence-based rationale. Duration: 45–60 minutes.
Initial consultation fee
29,000 ₽
What the Consultation Includes
A consultation is not a 15-minute conversation in an office. It is a thorough expert assessment, most of which happens before you even arrive.
BEFORE the appointment (1–2 hours of doctor's work)
- You submit your documents and fill out the patient checklist
- The doctor reviews discharge summaries, operative notes, and test results
- The doctor personally reviews CT, MRI, PET-CT scans (not just the reports)
- Analysis of histology and molecular testing
- Preparation of treatment options based on international protocols
DURING the appointment (45–60 minutes)
- Physical examination, general health assessment
- Diagnosis explained in plain language
- Discussion of treatment options and alternatives
- Prognosis discussion
- Answers to all of your questions
AFTER the appointment
- Written treatment plan with rationale and references to clinical trials
- List of additional tests needed (if any) and where to get them
- Treatment cost estimate
- Direct communication with the doctor for follow-up questions for 7 days
No hidden fees. The consultation fee is fixed and covers everything listed above. You will not pay a single extra ruble beyond the stated price.
What You Are Paying For
The consultation fee reflects the level of expertise and the volume of work dedicated to your case. Here is what stands behind every appointment:
- In oncology since 2006 — from residency to leading departments at federal oncology centers. More about the doctor
- Published in leading international journals: The Lancet, The New England Journal of Medicine, Journal of Clinical Oncology — over 60 scientific papers
- 30+ clinical trials — participation as principal investigator, access to the latest data before publication
- Chair of RUSSCO Working Group (small bowel cancer, 2025), co-author of liver tumor guidelines — the doctor helps create the standards used across the country
- Member of RUSSCO, ESMO, ASCO — continuous education, conferences, knowledge exchange with colleagues from leading global centers

"The clinic cannot do this cheaper, because it cannot do it worse."
How the First Consultation Works
From your initial inquiry to a personalized treatment plan — four clear steps.
Call +7 (917) 520-45-89, message via Telegram, WhatsApp, or submit the form on this page. Our coordinator will respond within 30 minutes during business hours and find a convenient appointment date.
1–2 days before the appointment, you submit your medical records: discharge summaries, test results, CT/MRI/PET-CT scans, histology. The doctor personally reviews all materials and prepares preliminary recommendations.
The doctor already knows your case, so the entire appointment is devoted to the examination, discussing your diagnosis and treatment strategy. Without rushing, with answers to all questions — yours and your family's.
You receive a written document: the recommended treatment regimen with rationale and references to clinical trials, a list of additional tests (if needed), and a cost estimate. Direct access to the doctor for follow-up questions for 7 days.
Follow-Up Consultation
For patients who have already had an initial appointment. A follow-up consultation is needed to assess treatment progress, adjust therapy, or discuss new test results.
- Assessment of treatment response based on fresh data
- Therapy adjustment if needed
- Review of new test results
- Answers to accumulated questions
Duration: 30–45 minutes.
Follow-up consultation fee
29,000 ₽
For patients who have already had an initial appointment
If more than 6 months have passed since the initial visit and the clinical situation has changed significantly, a new comprehensive document review may be required. The coordinator will advise during scheduling.
What to Ask Your Oncologist at the First Visit
The first visit to an oncologist is stressful. Many patients leave and realize they forgot to ask important questions. Here is a list worth bringing with you.
About the Diagnosis
- What is my exact diagnosis and stage?
- Are additional tests or histology re-review needed?
- What is the molecular profile of my tumor, and does it affect treatment choice?
About Treatment
- What treatment options exist for my case?
- Why do you recommend this particular regimen?
- What side effects are possible, and how can they be managed?
About Prognosis
- What is the prognosis for my diagnosis and stage?
- How do you assess whether treatment is working?
- Are there clinical trials that I might be eligible for?
Practical Questions
- How much will treatment cost, and what is included?
- How will my daily life change during treatment?
- How can I reach you if questions arise between visits?
You do not have to memorize the answers. At a consultation with Dr. Ledin, you will receive a written treatment plan with rationale that you can re-read at home in a calm setting.
